Robert L. Hanley, Jr.

Graduated from Towson University (B.S., Magna Cum Laude, 1978) and the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law (J.D. with Honors, 1982). Mr. Hanley served as a law clerk to Honorable William R. Buchanan, Sr., of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Hanley was a member of Nolan, Plumhoff & Williams, Chtd. for thirty six years. An AV-rated attorney, Mr. Hanley has been recognized by his peers as a Litigation Super Lawyer since 2008. Mr. Hanley’s practice focuses on commercial litigation and complex civil litigation, including professional negligence, automobile torts, premises liability, toxic torts, business disputes and appellate advocacy. Mr. Hanley is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He is a member of the Bar for the State of Maryland, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States of America. Mr. Hanley is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Baltimore County Bar Association. Mr. Hanley has obtained several settlements and/or verdicts in excess of One Million Dollars.
